Nestled on a private lot, the Hilltop House offers a sustainable, green getaway for guests who want a comfortable retreat from the stresses of everyday life. The Hilltop House is a great respite from city life and boasts ample space both inside and outside where you can feel immersed in nature, but also close to Ithaca's sights and sounds.

The Hilltop House has three bedrooms with 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, and one sleeper sofa which is in the main living area. There are two bathrooms with their own showers located on opposite ends of the home. The main living area is surrounded by a 1,200 square foot deck which is cantilevered out over the valley with beautiful rural views. The Hilltop House also features a large tree-lined front yard and plenty of green space off of the private driveway. There is a large well equipped kitchen with a stove, a full-sized refrigerator, and two ovens! Beside the kitchen is a dining area with seating for four, in addition to a large stone dining table on the porch which seats 6. Just off of the kitchen is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. In the evenings and during the colder months, guests and their furry friends love kicking back in the living room in front of the wood fireplace while enjoying the view of the valley through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The Hilltop House has some unique features and naturally crafted finishes. Throughout the home guests will find original details such as a wooden post with an artisan welded top that provides ambient lighting in the living room. We find these one-of-a-kind details to be part of it’s charm. View natures finest: deer, fox, squirrels and birds from the porch. We hope that you enjoy your stay with us. We ask that our guests follow the house rules and are respectful of the property, but invite our guests to come as they are. Nearby - 5 minutes to Cornell University. - 10 Minute Drive to Downtown Ithaca & Ithaca College - 15 Minutes to Ithaca Farmers Market - 25 Minutes to Taughannock Falls - A scenic 40 minute drive to the Seneca Winetrail & Watkins Glen State Park - The road the house is on is a hill, as is the driveway. Please take not of this in the winter, as the roads may get a bit slipper on the hill if it snows/ices over.

The Hilltop House is a great retreat, especially when you just want a break from the hustle and bustle of life. You have exclusive access to the Hilltop House, it’s large deck and the outdoor space. Guests are welcome to walk down the hill to the lower part of the property where you can relax by the pond. There are some neighboring houses up on the hill, so we ask that you do not wander into their yards to respect their privacy.
