Come relax at our retreat! This listing is for a well-appointed 6 bedroom house with 3 full baths located on East hill about 5 minutes from downtown Ithaca. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood just minutes to Cornell and downtown Ithaca. There is a beautiful backyard which leads to a town park. The main level of the house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms while the lower level has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. There is a dining area and living room on both floors. The main level has a full kitchen. This home is pet and smoke free and is a perfect place to bring the family.
Good to know
This house has been meticulously updated over the past few years. The entire house is available to groups looking for a place to stay and be able to spread out. Because the house has two levels, it is perfect for multiple families with kids coming together or friends needing private bedrooms for each person. The back patio and deck are perfect for eating meals or sipping your morning coffee. The backyard is surrounded by woods and is very private. A little path in the backyard leads to a town park with hiking trails and a playground. This house has a full laundry room right off the kitchen which is available to guests. We do not provide access to the garage unless arranged beforehand.
Other Details to Note
Please no setting up of tents or anything else in the yard. Please park in driveway. Upstairs bedrooms have window air conditioners. Basement has fans. We are in a quiet residential neighborhood and have quiet hours between 10pm-8am. We like our neighbors and want guests to respect them and the rest of our neighbors

Quiet dead end road just minutes to Cornell's campus and downtown Ithaca. Our road has no streetlights so it will be dark at night. The path to the lower level is lit at night if you choose to use the back entrance. Close to East Hill plaza, our home is a serene retreat away from the commotion of campus. The backyard has a patio, outdoor table and chairs, and swing set. The upper level deck has a BBQ grill, outdoor table and chairs, and patio set. The home backs up to a town park with hiking trails, playground, basketball courts, and more. Just a short walk to the TCAT bus #51 which runs daily every hour. The bus stop is on the road behind our house and can either be reached by walking through the park, or walking on the road around the block. If you prefer we have parking spots for 3 cars or are an easy Uber/Lyft ride from anywhere in Ithaca. We are close to everything, but walking to Cornell would take well over an hour, so expect to either bring your car, RideShare or use public transportation while here. We are not located downtown, but on East Hill of Ithaca. We are not walking distance to downtown or Cornell, but are a short 5 minute car ride to both. There is a whole laundry room available for your stay with laundry detergent! Nearest Bus stop on #51: 2/10th or 3/10th of a mile. a 5 min walk. Six Mile Creek Vineyard: 1 mile East Hill Plaza/P&C Grocery Store: 1.7 mile Mulholland Wildflower preserve: 2.6 miles Cornell University: 3 miles Ithaca Commons/Downtown 3.4 miles Ithaca College: 4.5 miles (We do not recommend depending on the bus to get to IC.) Guest Access
You will have the entire house and property to yourself during your rental. The 1/2 acre yard is a quiet place to catch up with family, read a book, and let the kids play. The yard is perfect for a time away.
